The Transportation Specialist receives general supervision and direction from the Community Manager; and is responsible for transporting residents in a Community vehicle to authorized functions, as well as certain approved errands.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- CDL Permit Required
- Must familiarize themselves with all emergency procedures and recognize and report observed hazards. Wear seatbelts when transporting residents and eye and respiratory protection, gloves, back support, etc. as needed.
- Must think and drive safely.
- Ability to conduct themselves both at work and off duty in a manner that does not adversely affect the image of the Community.
- Must have valid driver’s license and good driving record to operate personal vehicle, as well as a valid driver’s license appropriate to the type of vehicle being driven for the Community
- Proper automobile liability insurance and dependable transportation that is in good operating condition.
- Possession of character traits of honesty, dependability, courtesy and cooperativeness
- Must be able to work independently and as a team member with a helpful attitude.
- Possession of good organizational and communication skills
- Must be self-motivated
- Ability to respect residents' privacy and maintain confidentiality of all aspects of the community.
- Drug test and background screening required.
