Traveling Fire Suppression Apprentice, $17.00 - $25.00 hr
Full-Time, Monday – Friday, 9 days traveling - 5 days off.

R+L Carriers is currently looking for a Fire Sprinkler Fitter who is a motivated team player with a strong technical aptitude and experience performing the installation of fire protection piping, valves and accessories.
Job Responsibilities:
- Help foreman Installs, maintains, repairs, or replaces fire sprinkler equipment and systems in strict accordance with applicable codes and standards
- Some knowledge to install, perform maintenance and repairs on wet pipe, dry pipe, pre-action systems, fire pumps and industrial fire sprinkler systems
- Ensures that each work detail is consistently completed with clean and quality workmanship
- Conduct work in a safe manner utilizing all required PPE, safe work practices, etc.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s License and dependable transportation
- Minimum of 1+ yrs of onsite industrial job experience
- Minimum of 1+ yrs with steel pipe and fire sprinkler systems
- Ability to adhere to implement and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times
- Walking, climbing stairs, ladders, bending
- Ability to work in unusual and sometimes difficult position such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 50 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
