Class C Driver

Primary Responsibility

Goodwill Southern California is hiring enthusiastic and experienced Class C drivers to pick up and deliver goods to Goodwill’s locations. Responsibilities include loading and unloading goods and completing all related paperwork. Company Vehicle provided! Only Class C License required.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Completes assigned route efficiently.
  • Loads, secures and unloads goods.
  • Regularly inspects vehicle and fills out daily inspection forms.
  • Complies with company safety procedures and Department of Motor Vehicles regulations. Reports unsafe conditions to supervisor.
  • Ensures all related paperwork is filled out correctly.
  • Presents friendly, cooperative attitude at all times
  • Operates all equipment in a safe and efficient manner
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment by following all personal protective equipment policies and procedures.
  • Shift flexibility and overtime when needed.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Education & Experience

  • 1-2 years of class C driving experience.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Must have a valid California Driver’s License. Driving records must meet the requirements of Goodwill’s insurance carrier.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak basic English.
  • Punctual and dependable attendance.
  • Bobtail knowledge preferred.
  • Adheres to Goodwill’s values of Respect, Integrity, Service, & Excellence.
  • Background Check and Drug Screen required.
  • Verification of COVID-19 Vaccination
