Job Description:

This position is perfect for individuals seeking training and experience in the fields of electrical, mechanical or nuclear engineering as well as advanced electronics. This position will provide you with extensive training as a nuclear propulsion plant operator and technician- Training for this program will provide a comprehensive understanding of a pressurized-water Naval nuclear power plant, including reactor core nuclear principles, heat transfer and fluid systems, plant chemistry and materials, mechanical and electrical systems, and radio-logical control.

You will learn to interpret schematic diagrams and use appropriate test equipment to isolate and correct faults in electronic systems as well as learn to operate electrical equipment using controllers, and to properly test, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical circuits, motors, cables, circuit breakers, and other related electrical equipment for power distribution.

Pay: $44,363.67 - $108,003.95 per year
