Universal Caregiver

We are currently seeking qualified individuals to join our team as a universal caregiver here at our facility in Grants Pass. The job duties for this position include, but are not limited to; performing duties per the caregiving roster, reporting changes in resident conditions via staff notes, communication book and incident reports, assisting other departments when needed to ensure a safe working environment is maintained, preparing meals for residents following the menu posted in the kitchen, picking up garbage and laundry from residents rooms, transferring residents, operating back belts, gait belts, and transfer boards, etc. This is a full time position. Pay for this position starts at $17 an hour.

Requirements:

• General knowledge of oxygen tanks and equipment is essential.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and carry 100 pounds occasionally.
• Must be able to bend, lift, twist, and squat on a daily basis.
• Basic computer skills are essential.
• Must have great communication skills with the elderly.
• Must be able to transfer residents with appropriate assistance.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the facility.
• Must be able to pass a drug test (THC OK)
