What You Will Do:

1) Removes soiled linen from beds and ensures proper storage.

2) Makes beds in an approved manner according to the assignment.

3) Combs’s resident hair and paints nails when desired by the resident

4) labels personal items

5) Passes food trays in the dining room and resident rooms

6) Perform activities with residents: i.e., read to them, do puzzles, talk with them

7) Assists with answering call bells and notifies C.N.A.s of requests outside the scope of practice

8) Cleans whirlpool room and whirlpool after use

9) Picks up clutter and helps keeps rooms and the unit clean and picked up

10) Encourage participation in group activities and recreational programs

11) Transports residents to and from activities of their choice

12) Cleans wheelchairs

13) Rotates cubicle curtains for cleaning
