Job description

Assure the urgent care center is appropriately staffed with UCT/MA staff during regularly scheduled hours and special events. Help with oversite and implementation so that the equipment in the facility is available, operational, safe, and clean. Responsible for training and oversite of all UCT staff. Responsible for helping the UCT/MA staff in achieving their role as scribe, MA, and as Front Desk Staff. Therefore, the Urgent Care Supervisor takes a leadership position in drafting Omega Health eMR templates to improve workflow and UCT/MA documentation. Oversees the day-to-day operations of the center as well as compliance with policies, procedures, and established standards of excellence.

· Select, train, supervise, and monitor quality and production levels of UCT/MA staff.

· Develop monthly UCT staff schedule, review timecards, and provide input to payroll calculation.

· Assure UCT staff is adequately trained and equipped to perform their jobs.

· Communicate and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Make recommendations for new policies/ procedures as needed and as part of the overall quality and compliance plans.

· Address performance and disciplinary issues of UCT staff.

· Monitor supply inventories and order all supplies.

· Screen, qualify and interview prospective new UTC employees.

· Oversees the orientation of new UTC employees to clinic policies, procedures and protocols including but not limited to HIPAA, EMR and Practice Management system.

· Conduct annual UTC employee performance reviews, recommends pay adjustments.

· Conduct on-going training and competency evaluations of UTC staff.

· Participate in clinic management meetings as appropriate.

· Inspect and maintain records on facilities and equipment.

· Coordinate facility and equipment maintenance and other vendor services.

· Perform front-end registration and/or clinical tasks as a back-up in case of absence or high demand.

· Assure compliance with regulatory requirements (HIPAA, the Company Compliance Plan, DEA)

· Oversee compliance with accreditation standards.

· Maintains strictest confidentiality.

· Coordinates with the division of nursing at MHHC to assure UCT/MA staff compliance with the division of nursing standards.

· Other duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
