Job Title: Validation Engineer
Location: Somerville, NJ
Duration: Full Time

Technical/Functional Skills

• This profile will require the candidate identified to act as Validation Engineer and to liaise between customer’s internal medical device manufacturing site and external manufacturing site.
• The candidate should have experience in GS1 barcode verification and should work with cross-functional departments of a company & external supplier.

Experience Required

• Hands-on experience with Test equipment installation (IQ/OQ)
• Test method verification, validation, and qualification
• Experience writing work instructions, process flow charts, or technical research summaries.
• Are all of the work instructions, procedures and processes up to date?
• Willingness to learn. Ability to help teams solve project problems. Can-do attitude.
• Proficient in the Microsoft software package.
• Good communication skills – written and verbal.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Implementation of Barcode Verification Equipment at each internal medical device manufacturing site and external manufacturing sites.
• Hands-on Engineer and Technical Support for Barcode Verification at each site.
• IQ/OQ, test method validation, and getting the verifier into place on-site, verified, and validated
• Drive execution of tasks to a full completion of barcode verifier deployment for each site. (Barcode verification and it is in place at each site).
• Experience with IQ/OQ/PQ.
• Assume responsibility for own commitments & delivering to agreed timescales per project deadlines.
• Provide updates to company management regarding work performed & deliverables
• Short-term travel to supplier location if required to resolve conflicts.
