The Vehicle Finance Specialist is of the Customer Finance Group and will work interdepartmentally to prepare customer vehicles documents including vehicle sales contracts, advise on customer credit and funding statues, work to complete customers billing and resolve any issues pertaining to the transaction of the vehicle delivery. This role will support our sales and delivery teams to smoothly complete the sales process for ElectraMeccanica’s customers.

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinates with Sales and Delivery to ensure that all required documents pertaining to the transaction are complete and accurate.
• Prepare and review vehicle agreements and all required documents to sell, register, and finance a vehicle.
• Submit paperwork to obtain approval from finance sources on all finance deals
• Ensure that all required documentation is obtained and submitted to the finance source so that finance contracts are paid in a timely manner.
• Records information and ensures data quality in multiple record keeping systems including but not limited to Salesforce, DealerTrack, SAP and Route One.
• Confirm and assist in applying payments from customer and finance source.
• Complete customer billing and post revenue recognition entries in accounting system and ensure accuracy.
• Assist with verifying any government electric vehicle incentive program claims.
• Proactively advise and mediate any customer concerns regarding vehicle financing and sales contracts.

Job Requirements

• A bachelor's degree and experience in regulatory industries such as in finance, pharmaceutical, and insurance is preferred.
• Automotive accounting or finance experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of dealership finance and insurance procedures is preferred.
• Strong computer skills to work across multiple systems; Dealertrack, Salesforce, Microsoft Office, etc.
• Quick learner, ability to adapt to frequent change and to work in fast-paced environment.
• A minimum of one (1+) years in an automotive dealership is preferred but not required.
• Experience working with Salesforce, DealerTrack and SAP software is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to work on a flexible schedule, according to activity volume.
• Possesses a valid driver’s license.
• Authorized to work within the United States.
