Vehicle Patrol & Alarm Response Security Officer (Unarmed)


MPS Security is actively recruiting for a dependable individual to work vehicle patrol and alarm response (unarmed) in the city of Chino (CA).

The ideal candidate will possess the highest degree of integrity, be dedicated to their position, and take pride in their work and appearance.

This position requires superior driving skills, report writing skills, and public relations skills. A positive, friendly, and outgoing demeanor is a must.

Patrol/alarm response duties - covering multiple properties in the afternoon and overnight, weekends included, in multiple cities in southwest San Bernardino County.

Open Schedule: Saturday & Sunday, 1530-2330, followed by Monday & Tuesday, 2300-0700 (32 hours each week)

Qualifications

  • Must have a current BSIS guard card and a valid CA driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • 1-year experience as a security officer
  • Must be at least 23 years old
  • No more than 1 point currently on driving record
  • Driver's license cannot have previously been suspended or revoked for a moving violation
  • Must have had your license for at least 3 years
  • Able to work 8-12 hour shifts without issue
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Military/Law Enforcement experience a plus (former military/law enforcement must have a valid guard card)

MPS Security is a local, second generation family-owned company, located in Murrieta (CA), with a third generation coming onboard.

MPS Security is not like the "big box" nation-wide security companies, that force you to wade through layer upon layer of middle management at a branch office to get an answer, nor do we say one thing in the interview then do another when you start work (i.e. getting bounced around from post to post each week, days off changing each week, reduction in hours worked from week to week, taking weeks to resolve payroll discrepancies, etc.). MPS Security will tell it to you straight when it comes to pay, post assignments, and scheduling.

We have one office (in Murrieta), with experienced operations and management staff that live in the same communities we serve, and are within 30 minutes/miles of the majority of our clients. Not many security companies can proivde instant contact (phone, text, email) to their clients with the company CEO, President, and Operations Manager, and have them on site within 30 minutes. Our Field Supervisors routninely visit all sites/posts to interact and engage with our officers and clients, to ensure our people are properly trained and our clients receive the quality service they are paying for.

MPS Security offers post assignments throughout the Temecula Valley and neighboring communities, at commercial, industrial, residential, and health care properties, for armed or unarmed officers, working as standing guards or vehicle patrol (alarm response).

BONUS PLANS

$300.00 HIRING BONUS (Full-Time)

  • Must be a full-time employee, working at least 32+ hours weekly.
  • Bonus will be paid upon completion of a 90-day term with MPS Security from the first day worked, with no disciplinary/corrective action and no attendance issues (includes lates, call off’s, and requested time off).

$200.00 HIRING BONUS (Part-Time/On Call/Flex)

  • For part-time employees, working less than 32 hours weekly.
  • Also, for employees hired as On Call or Flex (conditions apply).
  • Bonus will be paid upon completion of a 90-day term with MPS Security from the first day worked, with no disciplinary/corrective action and no attendance issues (includes lates, call off’s, and requested time off).
  • VACCINATION BONUS

$150.00 for full Covid-19 Vaccination at time of hiring (proof of vaccination required upon day of hire)

  • Bonus will be paid upon completion of a 90-day term with MPS Security from the first day worked.

$50.00 for Covid-19 Vaccination booster (proof of vaccination booster required)

  • Bonus will be paid if booster is completed within six months from second vaccination.
  • All persons working without proof of vaccination may be required to test weekly, based on post assignment.

REFER A FRIEND BONUS

$200.00 to be paid after referred friend completes a 90-day term with MPS Security from the first day worked, with no disciplinary/corrective action and no attendance issues (includes lates, call off's, and requested time off).
