Bath-Brunswick Veterinary Associates has an immediate full-time opening for an enthusiastic, friendly and compassionate Client Service Representative to join our team.

Our client service team is the first and last contact that a client will have with the hospital and is key to creating first and lasting impressions. Our ideal candidate will love working with clients as much as the animals and possess excellent telephone and in-person client service and communication skills. The ability to work in a fast-paced, team oriented environment and handle multiple tasks at once with an attention to detail is required. Strong organizational skills and computer experience is essential. Prior experience in client service is required and experience in an animal setting or veterinary hospital is preferred.

Some of your daily duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Welcoming clients & patients, admission and discharge and helping ensure top-notch client service to our valued clients.
• Scheduling and confirming appointments.
• Incoming and outgoing phone calls, faxes, text messaging & emails
• Presenting and explaining fees, including payment processing.
• Client education of services, products and basic medical care such as heartworm prevention, flea & tick control, nutrition and husbandry.
• Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence documents
• Working directly with our medical team and our clients to help facilitate efficient flow of information and care for our patients.
• Basic office functions such as scanning, faxing, cleaning, etc.

BBVA is a 3-4 daily doctor practice providing advanced medical services such as ultrasonography, digital dental radiology, laser therapy, digital radiology, endoscopy, and full in-house laboratory. BBVA also houses a large boarding facility with daycare and grooming. As one of Maine’s largest veterinary hospitals, BBVA has proudly been an AAHA accredited hospital for over 60 years.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.50 - $16.00 per hour
