Welcome to sunny Central Oregon! Ark Animal Clinic is a long-standing veterinary clinic that has serviced our area for over 45 years.

Ark Animal Hospital is seeking a veterinary receptionist/assistant. This position will split time between receptionist and assistant with potential to move into a full time assistant position. Experience in both positions is ideal.

As a receptionist, your role will be to greet clients, both face-to-face and on the phone. Strong phone skills and strong scheduling skills are required. You must have the ability to multi-task between things like checking in clients, checking out clients and taking payment, preparing charts, and maintaining medical records all while having a positive attitude! As an assistant, responsibilities include venipuncture, catheter placement, lab sample collection, admitting and discharging surgical patients, monitoring hospitalized patients, dispensing medications as directed by veterinarians, assisting doctors in exam rooms and assisting with surgical procedures/dentals.

We are a small animal clinic mainly seeing canines and felines. We are proud to have an ultrasound, digital radiograph, digital dental x-ray, in-house labs, laser & cryo therapy, and a full surgery suite. Our goal is to have a cohesive team that works together and is kind to the patients and their owners.
