Regional West Health Services (RWHS) is an independent, not-for-profit integrated health care delivery system based in Scottsbluff, Nebraska that is seeking a Vice President & Chief Information Officer (CIO) to oversee our Information Technology & Systems team.

This role ensures the effective, efficient and secure operation of all automated data processing systems across the Health System.

To serve this mission, you will be partnering with other members of the RWHS Executive Leadership Team and Leadership Council to lead departments and functionalities of Health Information Management, Project Management, Information Management Systems, Coding and Tele-health & Network Relations.

As the RWHS Vice President & Chief Information Officer you will:

• Analyze the Health System’s current technology infrastructure and align it with the business’ strategic plans.
• Evaluate, plan, install and maintain all technology hardware and software including other peripherals and supplies necessary to keep technology systems operable and efficient and to fulfill management’s requests for technology support.
• Ensure the security of the Health Services IT assets while also ensuring the company’s IT operations adhere to joint commission, local, state and federal laws.
• Develop, establish and maintain a communication system for the company, including network infrastructure, wide area connectivity, remote access etc.
• Create a cost-benefit analysis as well as supporting a detailed definition of data requirements and departmental workflows.

You may be a great fit if you have:

• A Master’s Degree in Business Administration or Information Technology.
• Five to seven years of healthcare related IT leadership experience required.
• Current knowledge and demonstrable successful Information Systems leadership, management and performance improvement for a system of similar or larger complexities as Regional West Health Services.
