Vice President of Marketing

Job Function:
The Vice President (VP) of Marketing oversees the marketing strategies and efforts in order to strengthen the company market position and achieve desired business goals. This position is responsible for the overall marketing results for all Big Iron entities.
Essential Functions:
  • Directly responsible for the overall marketing vision, strategy, and marketing team.
  • Identify and plan differentiated and impactful marketing strategies/materials.
  • Drive the implementation of marketing campaigns that meet business objectives and drive leads.
  • Direct and support market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data for short and long-term market forecasts and reports.
  • Works closely with the sales department to align sales and marketing strategies.
  • Prepare and implement marketing visions to promote expansion within all regions.
  • Develop and manage marketing budget and expenditures in support of Company objectives.
  • Maintain brand standards and ensure compliance across all marketing and communications channels.
  • Identify competitors and evaluate their strategies and positioning and devise counterstrategies.
  • Builds, manages, and coaches a high-performing marketing team.
  • Builds long-term relationships with employees, Independent Sales Reps (ISRs) and clients.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned by management or required by the position.
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Must possess a bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field and a minimum of 10 years of experience.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • In depth knowledge of market research.
  • Agricultural and/or equipment experience preferred.
  • Visionary leader who inspires towards the future of the company.
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, etc.
