Junior Paralegal/Case Assistant

We are a growing paralegal and law firm support team looking for a junior paralegal with 1-5 years of experience working in a law firm to join our team.

We are looking for candidates who have experience with various case management software and/or who are tech savvy and able to pick up new software quickly.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Draft simple pleadings and correspondence

· E-file pleadings in various state and federal courts

· Request medical and open records

· Organize and index documents and records

· Calendar/docket pertinent dates and deadlines

· Data entry

· Setup claims

· Make phone calls for senior paralegals and attorneys

· Formatting and proofreading documents

· Other administrative tasks as assigned by senior paralegals

While this is a contract position, candidates MUST have some availability to work during normal business hours and respond to client requests/inquiries within the same day. If you are only looking for evening/weekend hours, please do not apply. Must be dependable, a self-starter, organized, and able to jump in right away to work on projects. We also need paralegals who know how to handle multiple projects and personalities at once. Great opportunity to work with interesting clients and a strong, close-knit paralegal team. Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
