This position allows for remote work and requires intermittent travel for business meetings, expectations for travel are up to 25% of the time.

The Vice President of De Novo Enhancement will report to the CEO of Ivy Rehab for Kids and will be a member of Ivy’s Senior Leadership Team. The successful candidate will support Strategy Development, De Novo Operational Enhancement Strategies, lead analytical review of processes with an eye towards driving efficiency and execution across Ivy’s de novo landscape, along with assistance in execution of strategic partnerships. The successful candidate must be a high integrity leader with exceptional critical thinking ability, executive presence, and strong verbal and communication skills including expertise in PowerPoint and Excel. Candidates should welcome the opportunity to collaborate with other members of leadership as well as our Board of Directors. Presenting to senior-level executives and Board Members will be commonplace. This is a new position and as such, the job responsibilities of this role will evolve over time as the company continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Operational leadership of Ivy’s De Novo enhancement processes
  • Support and develop regional De Novo operational enhancement strategy
  • Review De Novo portfolios, analyzing key performance indicators and target goals
  • Oversee lead execution of De Novo strategies in partnership with Vice Presidents of Operations and Facility Leadership
  • Create, rollout and evolve Ivy’s De Novo playbook and present to leadership at all levels on the key substantive drivers of De Novo performance acceleration
  • Drive and manage P&L; be a pragmatic decision maker in organizational advancement with intent of continually improving performance of de novo portfolio
  • Collaborate with finance, operational and revenue/growth leadership to drive innovation and execution
  • Champion successful practices of continuous improvement, innovation, and high performance in collaboration with leaders across the organization
  • Define and develop key performance indicators; analyze and interpret financial and operational performance and track key operational objectives and strategic initiatives to improve efficiency and profitability
  • Professionally represent Ivy to outside parties in the execution of strategic partnerships and facility partner engagements, including support in sourcing talent for clinical needs to ensure execution of de novo success profile

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) preferred but not required
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an analytical role in operations, finance, accounting, business management, or economics; investment banking, private equity, healthcare, or consulting experience required
  • Proven analytical, problem solving, and quantitative abilities that can be demonstrated
  • Advanced skill level in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience in De Novo plan execution within a Private Equity environment
  • Understanding of commercial real estate transactional and development environment with preference for candidates with expanded understanding of and experience in commercial real estate
  • Prior consulting experience and/or leadership of large transformational projects in a healthcare environment is preferred
  • Demonstrated record of strong collaboration with varied stakeholder groups
  • Demonstrated ability to write and deliver powerful structured communications and presentations to senior leaders required
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills and desire to engage with internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance required
  • Must be a self-starter with a strong vision, creative approach and passion for driving insight
  • Preferably reside on the East Coast, mid-Atlantic or Midwest with accessibility to major transportation; Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Ownership/results/accountability-oriented, able to overcome obstacles
  • Expert project management skills, and advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Self-motivated with the willingness and commitment to exceed expectations, learn and professionally grow
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding time management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and assignments in a changing environment with competing projects
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
