Overview of Position

We are seeking a Warehouse Assistant to join our Purchasing Team. This person will be responsible for ensuring that the customer, technical team, sales and operations team members are always up to date on the status and quality level of each installation project we perform. This person will use their world class customer relations skills to ensure that high quality results are delivered in a timely and efficient manner.

What you’ll own

Deliver an amazing customer experience with excellent communication and organization skills.

Work with Project Managers and the Purchasing Team to ensure the right products get to the right place at the right time.

Professionally handle multiple incoming requests from customers and Groove field teams to ensure that issues are resolved both promptly and accurately.

You will be trained on how to organize online accounts from Salesforce, Groove and other vendor software systems.

You will be trained on how to organize and track inventory levels across multiple SKUs and multiple projects.

You will be trained on how to develop and manage inventory returns and RMAs.

You will be trained on how to accurately record estimated and actual project costs and continuously

You will be trained on how to provide accurate product information and serve as a knowledgeable resource for the customer, accurately representing the customer and Groove.

Meet or exceed all monthly key performance standards and deliver exceptional reliability and adherence to project scope, schedule and budget.

Balance the needs of the end user customer and of the internal business requirements for productivity, efficiency, and performance.

Physical loading and unloading and/or sorting of packages of various weight and size.

Experience and skills you’ll have

Excellent interpersonal, organizational and verbal and written communication skills are required.

Minimum 6+ months of recent customer service, communications, warehouse, or purchasing experience.

Strong listening skills, professional telephone manner and ability to deal tactfully and effectively with customers in a fast-paced customer focused environment.

Entry level computer skills in a Windows environment with the ability to learn the Groove and partner/vendor software systems.

Be patient with difficult customers and polite when interacting with customer service issues.

Ability to get along with others, accept constructive feedback and exhibit a positive attitude.

Demonstrate a passion for excellence with respect to treating and caring for customers.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and meet individual goals.

Strong decision making and analytical abilities and deal with conflict resolution effectively.
