Job Summary:
This full-time position, works mainly Monday through Friday, 7:30AM - 4:30PM. Scheduled hours may vary and will be dependent on business demands. Some weekend work may be necessary. The position will pay $12-$13 per hour. This employer participates in the E-Verify employment verification system.
SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Packing, Shipping, Receiving
- Examine contents and compare with records to verify accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments
- Trained and Certified to operate forklifts, narrow aisle forklift, etc., a plus
- Read instructions, locations, packages, shipments and orders
- Locate products in the correct location and row
- Inspect incoming shipments for damage and reject or document appropriately
- Prepare items to be shipped including picking, packing, staging, and labeling
- Use hand truck and other warehouse equipment as needed to move or convey shipments to staging, storing or work areas
- Perform cycle counts
- Restock shelving with products and maintain organization of inventory
- Assist in maintaining the order, cleanliness, and efficiency of the warehouse
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 1 year related work experience, preferred
- Knowledge of warehouse procedures
- Knowledge of equipment safety standards
- Possess organizational, problem solving and time management skills
- Ability to work occasional weekend and/or evening work, as needed
- Ability to operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment preferred
- Capability to work in a fast paced environment with limited supervision
