Warehouse Associate is responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving, storing and sending inventory according to orders and shipping schedules. Their duties include staging orders to be loaded on trucks, counting & returning equipment, cycle counts and to ensure warehouse premises are clean. Materials will primarily be scaffolding, shoring, and hoist equipment for the commercial construction industry.
Responsibilities:
- Receiving and documenting Scaffolding and motorized equipment for delivery and return by accurately counting and tracking all materials.
- Identifying any missing, lost, or damaged materials and immediately notify the supervisor.
- Ensuring that all the merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping.
- Assist with general maintenance and upkeep of vehicles and forklifts to ensure they remain in good working order.
- Performing scheduled cycle counts accurately and on time.
- Clean and organize warehouse to ensure safe and organized working conditions.
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of motorized equipment
- Forklift operation experience
- Prior experience working in a warehouse
- Ability to work on feet for 8 hours and carry loads up to 75lbs
- Ability to work independently and safely
- Able to accurately and neatly complete all required pick tickets and safety paper work required
- Able to maintain and complete inspection logs and maintenance tickets for all required equipment.
- Available to work overtime when required
