This role is within CGI's Operations and Supply Chain function. A successful incumbent is expected to (i) Ensure a clean and safe working environment as well as the safety and security of all employees by following all safety, company, and 6S standards in the distribution center and (ii) Perform all warehouse tasks utilizing standard work and policies in order to ensure highest levels of safety and quality. Education requirements include: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent; Forklift Certification; Experience requirements include 5+ years’ experience in warehouse and/or manufacturing environment OR 3+ years of experience in warehouse environment utilizing Manhattan WM.
Associate II, Warehouse Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent; Forklift Certification
  • 5+ years experience in warehouse and/or manufacuturing environment OR 3+ years of experience in warehouse environment utilizing Manhattan WM
  • Ability to Read and Write in English
  • Valid driver's license
  • Preferred Qualifications: Yellow Belt Certification; TWI Certification; Associates Degree; Lean Manufacturing Experience

Associate II, Warehouse Overview:

  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment as well as the safety and security of all employees by following all safety, company, and 6S standards in the distribution center
  • Perform all warehouse tasks utilizing standard work and policies in order to ensure highest levels of safety and quality
  • Operate warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner in order ensure little to no accidents
  • Recommend visual aids with the distribution center in order maximize safety, quality, and productivity
  • Contribute and implement process suggestions in order to continuously improve warehouse operations
  • Identify deviations in the process and immediately notify supervisor in order to correct issue
  • Fully contribute in continuous improvement events to improve operations
  • Report company equipment and infrastructure damage to ensure repairs occur in order to minimize safety risk
  • This position requires regular and predictable on-site attendance and the ability to work the particular shift and/or schedule to which you are assigned, as well as additional hours as needed.
  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams
  • Protect CGI’s reputation by keeping information confidential
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed
