Position Summary: The Warehouse Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting daily warehouse functions. This includes warehouse operation and productivity. This individual ensures that shipments to Blake’s Lotaburger are received and stored correctly as well as make sure orders are accurately filled and shipped to the stores and to our outside customers. This individual handles, manages and maintains our fleet vehicles to keep the business running smoothly. Essential Functions:- Responsible for receiving product into warehouse - Responsible for keeping accurate records of inventory - Organize and perform warehouse weekly inventory counts - Responsible for maintaining correct temperatures within the; warehouse, delivery trucks and trailers as well as all inbound products - Submit temperature logs every Monday for the previous work week - Manage storage inventory and temperatures - Prepare orders for delivery - Process requests in an accurate and timely manner - Ensure that safety programs and training are in place for all drivers and warehouse personnel - Rotation and safe handling procedures for all dated or perishable products - Regularly review storage and maximize usage of space - Regularly review outside storage needs and keep accurate product movement records on outside storage/items- Review and adjust storage locations on all warehouse items to ensure the best use of available space - Create paperwork for inbound and outbound deliveries - Prepare routes, invoices and pick tickets - Monitor man hours- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Qualifications/Physical Requirements (Education/Training/Experience/Abilities): - Knowledge in DOT regulations - Highly proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook- Background in management including; recruiting, onboarding and employee relations - Knowledgeable in food safety regulations - Knowledgeable in inventory management- Experience in vehicle maintenance and repair is a plus- Must embody Blake’s Lotaburger core values - Knowledgeable in warehouse techniques, to process accurate orders - Must be able to lift/move up to 50lbs unassisted - Must have Fork Lift & Pallet Jack certification - Knowledge in OSHA regulations - Must be neat and clean in appearance - Must be able to pass a background check
