The ideal candidate will have previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing/warehouse setting. Responsibilities

• Performs scheduled preventive maintenance according to documented procedures and instructions.
• Follows lock-out/tag-out and all other safety procedures.
• Use visual and auditory observation methods as well as physical measurements to determine cause of mechanical problem.
• Uses electric test equipment such as multi-meter and insulation tester to diagnose electrical problem.
• Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts, using hoists, fork truck, hand and power tools.
• Uses rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools to inspect parts against original specifications to determine fitness for use.
• Repairs or replaces defective parts, using hand tools and power tools.
• Starts devices to test their performance.
• Performs basic facilities repairs / upkeep (painting, patching, cleaning, etc.).
• May contact & supervise outside services to do more complex repairs as needed.
• Makes basic fixtures / forms from plastic/steel/composite.
