Geotemps, Inc. is looking for a Warehouse Operator in Elko, NV. Applicants who are organized, experienced in shipping and receiving, and looking for challenging work in a team environment are encouraged to apply.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

· Ensure inventory accuracy and efficiency when receiving, picking and packing orders

· Assist with shipping and receiving, unload trucks, check in materials and store them in the appropriate location

· File and coordinate documentation

· Put away/Bin stock

· Make deliveries to customer locations

· Process sales orders and invoices

· Update and maintain the warehouse location system

· Assist in cycle counting and physical inventory

· Prepare export documentation

· Maintain shipping supplies and inventory

· Arrange shipping and transport

· Accept and reject vendor inventory transactions

· Build sound relationships with the workshop team and internal and external customers to ensure smooth operations

· Participate in customer on-call services

· Expedite urgent orders to ensure customers receive them when needed

· Maintain an orderly warehouse

· Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

· Must be able to lift heavy objects up to 50lbs, walk and stand for long periods of time, and perform strenuous physical labor

· Must be able to identify and report unsafe work habits, incidents and/or near misses

· High School Diploma or GED

· Six months of related experience strongly preferred

· Ability to operate a forklift

· Computer literacy required

PHYSICAL DEMAND

· The candidate is regularly required to stand, bend and twist, repetitive movements using hands and wrists, handle or feel, talk or hear, and reach above the shoulder with hands and arms.

· Physically capable of sitting or standing, shoveling, and performing other types of physical work for long periods of time.

· The candidate is occasionally required to climb, balance, kneel, crouch, crawl, walk and sit.

· The candidate may be required to walk on uneven or slippery surfaces.

· Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

· Good eye-to-hand coordination is essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
