Job Title: Warehouse Operator- Thomaston
Responsibilities:
- Physically count parts/components to monitor and maintain inventory records.
- Follow established material handling procedures to stock and pull raw materials for operations and ensure a smooth production schedule
- Operate a forklift and/or hand truck to move pallets.
- Enter all relevant data regarding stock in the warehouse (raw materials, semi-finished goods, finished goods) into SAP in a timely and accurate manner.
- Receive incoming materials physically and in SAP
- Research and disposition any receiving or stock discrepancies as needed
- Deliver incoming raw materials or goods to the appropriate dept. when necessary
- Handle sub-contracting movements of parts – physically and in SAP
- Collect and disposition engineering / NPD samples to clear room in WH
Job Requirements:
Education/ Previous Experience:
- Must have hands-on material handling experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Must be forklift licensed
- 2-4 years previous related work experience is essential
- Ability to prioritize work is essential to be successful.
- Detail orientated, analytical, problem solving skills
- Must have proven good interpersonal skills verbal & written communication skills.
- Must be able to read and write English
Computer literate: Microsoft Office, SAP – must be able to use Outlook to send and receive email communications
