Responsibilities:
- Supervise and assist in daily warehouse and shipping areas
- Oversee filling and shipping customer orders and satisfying internal shipping requirements
- Ensure accuracy of shipments and supporting documentation, receiving incoming material and routing to appropriate area or personnel, filling work orders from production, packaging assemblies and receiving into finshed goods, ensuring inventory transaction are accurately logged and overseeing cycle counts and reconciliation activities
- Measure and report the effectiveness of departmental activities
- Develop and maintain warehouse department work instructions for all tasks
- Establish or adjust work procedures to meet warehouse demands as dictated by production schedules and work flow
- Interpret company policies to warehouse team and enforce safety regulations
- Recommend measure to improve quality of service, increasing efficiency of department and work crew and equipment performance
- Continuously improve warehouse operations through the use of lean enterprise practices
- Communicate all delays or variances in inbound/outbound freight to the appropriate parties
- Plan warehouse layout and space requirements in order to prevent loss or damage and to achieve full warehouse optimization.
- Develop or enforce corporate policies regarding security and safety in order to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Materials Management preferred
- 3 years’ supervisory experience required
- 5-7 years’ in a warehouse environment required
- Experience managing 3rd party logistics providers preferred
- Experience in food manufacturing preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite in addition to knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures
