Job description
Point of contact for Warehousing & Distribution (WD) accounts on a day-to-day level for operational and strategic business activities. Furthermore, representing the informational connection between clients and warehouse (shopfloor) employees.
This involves problem-solving activities (e.g. fixing of POs and shipments), business intelligence related tasks (e.g. obtain volume forecasts), as well as to spot/seek opportunities to grow the existing business and improve processes from an administrative position.
Learn WDs client structure and get acquainted to each clients’ contact person/ counterparts.
Be the point of contact for clients’ day-today Q&As and to work with a problem-solving mentality on operational and strategic issues.
Onboarding and implementation of new accounts (introduction to WMS (portal))
Support the monthly billing process by closing files and creation of billables.
Get acquainted to new systems as an early adaptor to support departmental implementation and to train colleagues.
Monitor and steer inbound and outbound process flows.
Support client reviews by the retrieval of volume forecasts
Continuously challenge the own organization to detect improvements and to address them.
To validate the quality of the product and service within WD to be at the highest possible standard for clients
