Job Description :

• AS400 iSeries Developer with 9 + yrs experiences

• Developer should Years over all experience.
• Minimum 3 Years programming in an AS400 / iSeries / IBM I Environment.

• Experience in development & efficient designs.
• Good to have working knowledge on ILE Concepts.
• Troubleshoot problems related to RPG iSeries programs and reports.

• Monitor Job Loads, Perform periodic housing keep of log files
• Work on assigned support and enhancement tickets
• Remote monitoring, Disk space management
• Planned Maintenance Activity support
• Trouble shooting performance issue

• User, groups & Privilege Management
• Support I-series environment and the associated Application using it ( Island Pacific, Manhattan & JDA)
• Support the interfaces to other systems
• The scope is only restricted to support the applications not the AS 400 Infrastructure
• Work on all the support/enhancement tickets which are in the que
• On call support to be covered Including weekends.
• Document the current process and create the runbook for supporting I-series.
• Bring automation to reduce some manual work in the I-series world.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Experience:

• AS400: 6 years (Preferred)
• iSeries: 4 years (Preferred)

Work Location: On the road
