GE HealthCare is looking for a passionate Web Strategist focused on web experience optimization who thrives within a fast-paced environment, is always looking for ways to improve, and enjoys being collaborative. The Web Strategist is a key member of the Marketing Digital Experience (MDX) team and under the guidance of the Senior Web Strategist, will lead experience strategy and digital transformation engagements for GEHealthCare.com. You will provide consulting and subject matter expertise on how to architect and deliver marketing technology and digital experience strategies that accelerate customer acquisition and value. Sitting in the center between marketing/business, development, and design, strong communication and organization skills are the keys to success.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with internal marketing stakeholders to understand their business objectives, industry challenges, growth opportunities, customer experience needs through workshops, audits, primary and secondary research
  • Work in seamless collaboration with peers in Digital Experience (DX) and stakeholders in functional marketing teams to develop outputs that will enable the development of journey-based digital marketing strategies and programs and to develop user-centered web deliverables that effectively activate the strategy, be able to pivot solutions and communicate pros and cons, using an inherent ability to deftly manage tradeoffs between deadlines, budgetary constraints and the ideal execution
  • Advise leadership and employees across the org about our customers’ needs, the value of customer centricity, and our company’s approach to Customer Experience
  • Build positive relationships with internal partners and stakeholders, their reports and the extended Digital Experience team, partner with COEs and stakeholders to activate and drive adoption of digital experience and creative strategy frameworks to scale digital marketing best practices across the organization
  • Lead collaborative working sessions with internal marketing stakeholders and keep them on track, listen to and evaluate feedback to propose solutions that marry marketing best practices and business needs, communicate persuasively to inspire stakeholders and partners to achieve beyond previous expectations, be a collaborative solutions-oriented team player
  • Work cross functionally with Sales, Brand, Marketing, UX, and IT to ensure end-to-end alignment on improvements and opportunities and understand dependencies
  • Surface and prioritize customer issues in existing web experiences– relentlessly bringing customer insights and best practices to bear
  • Understand and keep up with changes to GEHC’s audiences, business strategies, marketing strategies, industry/market dynamics and the competitive landscape
  • Keep up to date with web and digital innovations, best-practices, tools and techniques, stay informed of digital media, technology, design, business and market trends, provide insight, expertise and share experience as requested and help brainstorm and break new ground and contribute to group knowledge and innovation
  • Utilize customer-centric tools such as journey maps, personas, and Voice of the Customer feedback data; facilitate ideation sessions and partner on research initiatives to inform decision-making and drive action
  • Make compelling recommendations to address opportunities in our digital experiences
  • Identify resources (e.g., guidelines, checklists, immersive trainings) the company needs to better understand and act on customer needs; work with CDX and Marketing colleagues to source/develop them
  • Partner with the program management and COE teams to ensure that final web experience deliverables meet expectations
  • Communicate regularly with marketing partners and provide update to senior leaders

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of recent digital marketing experience or digital marketer with a strong grasp of digital marketing channels including but not limited to web, social, search, email, events, paid media
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
  • Experience working directly with developers, designers, and analysts.
  • Strong understanding of web best practices and tactics.
  • Self-starter with proven ability to successfully kick-start new initiatives and to drive complex issues through analysis and resolution.
  • Experience partnering with a team to develop outputs that enable program development and stakeholder buy-in, such as personas, journey-maps, user flows, information architecture, and wireframes
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with driving and applying user-centered design processes while working collaboratively with marketing stakeholders and alongside cross-functional teams including creative, channel activation, marketing automation, marketing operations and analytics; experience with CRM and marketing automation tools a plus
  • Ability to brief creative teams on strategy and requirements and to provide constructive, directional feedback that will drive to the best creative output that is on brand and on strategy
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university


The salary range for this position is 96,000.00 - 120,000.00 - 144,000.00 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus. Available benefits include health, welfare, retirement and paid leave.
