Essential Duties and Responsibilities – Other duties may be assigned.

o Programming, set-up and running of various welding machines to include hand welding, using a TIG welder and orbital welding using an orbital welding machine of stainless steel and other purity materials.

o Demonstrate the ability to perform mechanical set-ups and change overs for all welding operations.

o Execute all of Ichor’s Standard Operating Procedures as they pertain to manufacturing related duties.

o Responsible for the study of prints, drawings and specifications to complete finished welds and lay out of tasks using specialized computer welding equipment.

o Proficiently use all approved hand gauges to inspect component quality at the work center.

o Work as a team member to aid others in upholding and maintaining departmental standards including quality goals and on-time delivery goals.

o Demonstrated ability to process and inspect work in accordance to prints.

o Ability to perform a sequence of operations, consistently maintaining the performance level set for quality and quantity.

o Collaborate with Engineering to develop advanced welding processes.

o Understand and execute Ichor’s safety rules and regulations to prevent unsafe set-ups, operations, or acts, which may cause injury to self, others or the environment.

Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

o Basic PC skills for manufacturing.

o Experience working in high-purity clean room environment.

o Certification in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing preferred.

o Aptitude or understanding of Ichor products, systems and UHP industry so as to successfully perform duties.

o Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

o Commitment to quality, customer focused mindset both internally and externally.

Desired Education, Certifications and Experience

o Successful completion of a 2-year professional trade program in Welding Technology or equivalent or currently enrolled in such a program.

o Basic math, blueprint reading and weld to print skills.

o 3+ years work experience performing TIG welding of stainless steel or less experience with a welding technology degree (or currently enrolled in Welding Technology Degree program).
