Maintains and operates computer systems or networks. Installs, supports and manages servers and resolves issues as needed. Installs patches and performs system backups and recovery. Monitors system configuration and maintains data files. Relies on limited knowledge and professional discretion to achieve goals. Works under general supervision and usually reports to a project leader or manager, though some ingenuity and flexibility is required. May require a bachelor’s degree in related area.
