Emmaus Home Inc., a alues-based non profit is seeking applicants for its residential services.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our individuals
• Nurturing the goals, self-determination, and unique personalities of those we serve
• Participate in frequent trainings on individuals and best practices
• Transporting individuals to their designated activities or volunteer or job opportunities
• Participating, engaging, and being an active peer in our individual’s daily goals or activities
• Working with and encouraging individuals to practice every day skills
• Supporting hygiene and physical health
• Frequent communication with supervisor regarding daily activities

Requirements:

• Respectful individuals whose attitude and values align with faith based values
• Positive, energetic, and motivated attitude
• Exclusion check
• Highly flexible and communicative
• High School Diploma or GED
• PA State criminal background check with no record
• Pre-employment Physical, TB test
• Drivers license, registration, inspection, and auto-insurance
• Completion and competency of pre-hire orientation
• Experience not required but preferred
• Any other credential required by DHS, ODP, or AAW
