Job description
The USD Wire Operations Specialist is responsible for performing operational support duties of the Wire Transfer Department. Creates, verifies, issues and receives wire transfers for processing; monitors the status of wire transfers; researches wire transfers as needed, monitor suspicious or fraudulent issues in accordance with state and federal regulations. Performs a variety of routine daily tasks; reviews reports, prepares correspondence; participates in special department projects.
Responsibilities:- Perform daily wire transfer functions in a centralized processing environment
- Manual wire input and wire system queues processing
- Data entry and verification of data within various system databases with precise accuracy
- System Administrative functions to set up and/or verify user access
- OFAC Monitoring of incoming and outgoing wire transfers
- Provide support to internal departments and branches in regards to all wire transfer processing inquiries
- Research and wire maintenance
- Filing and Archiving to support Audit requirements
- Daily opening or closing of the Wire System
- Daily balancing and reconciliation
- Ability to process work accurately and timely to meet service levels and deadlines
- Adhere to various policy procedures
- Other duties as assigned by manager
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Ability to work on many tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Basic accounting knowledge and balancing skills
- Serves as a member of the BCDR team
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Data entry and 10 Key by touch
- High School Diploma
- Typing Certificate Required (35-40 WPM)
Physical Requirements:
- Local travel may be required
- Role requires sitting or standing in front of a computer monitor for prolonged periods of time in a fixed neck position.
- Constant use of a computer or other office equipment resulting in repeating motions of the hands and wrists.

Rewards
National Base Pay Range (annual): $43,284.80 to $76,144.64
Final salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with geographic/market data.
