California Closets is a high-volume, highly successful custom furniture manufacturer located in Hawthorne, New York and we are looking for Woodworking Apprentices!

If you have woodworking or cabinetry experience, a willingness to learn, and you are interested in manufacturing, then we are willing to train you.
Woodworking Apprentice Qualifications:
- Prior experience with basic woodworking hand tools is preferred
- Familiarity with sliding table saws, panel saws, drilling and inserting machines, edge banders, a plus
- Prior experience working with sheet goods (Melamine products) is preferred
- Must be punctual and detail oriented
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
Woodworking Apprentice Duties :
- Machine, cut, assemble components for cabinet doors and drawer fronts
- Assemble, clamp, and clean doors and custom manufactured components
- Hours of operation are 7am – 3:30pm with occasional overtime as required
