WRITER CASHIER
Provide DraftKings at Casino Queen Guest Experience Service while writing Sports tickets and providing information to guests. Adhere to all Company policies and IGB gaming regulations and protect the Company’s assets. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all standards, policies, and procedures.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this job class and are not all-inclusive to this position.)
  • Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting DraftKings at Casino Queen Guest Experience Service Standards at all times.
  • Protect company assets at all times.
  • Accurately obtain, input, maintain, and record all transactions as specified by Sports audit and IGB and IRS Regulations.
  • Accurately write and pay valid Sports tickets.
  • Operate wagering terminal and perform machine maintenance, including but not limited to loading new tickets and keeping the area free of all debris.
  • Answers to all guests, explain wagering information, questions in a manner that reflects an understanding of the department and the property in general.
  • Assist Supervisors in identifying guests with special needs or liberal betting to ensure the protection of the Company assets and the best guest experience possible.
  • Clean and maintain the front and back of the house work areas. Inform necessary person of any supply shortages.
Qualifications
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members, and Management in both written and verbal form.
  • Have basic math skills.
  • Cash handling experience.
  • Understand and comply with all Company, departmental and IGB rules and regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and guests.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an Illinois Gaming Board Level 2 License.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Exemplary service engagement skills
