SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

A Radiologic Technologist certified in BLS performs duties necessary for cardiac catheterization, percutaneous coronary intervention, electrophysiology procedures, and peripheral procedures at a technical and professional level requiring minimal supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require responsible independent judgment. Assumes responsibility and initiative for designated areas and procedures as required. Recognizes the purpose of employment is to prioritize the patient as number one to align performance with the organization’s mission statement, values and goals and to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction and to put forth the utmost quality as a Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist.

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION:

ARRT registered, with previous experience preferred.

Ohio Department of Health License for Radiologic Technologist

Mandatory BLS certifications required with renewal every 2 years.

EXPERIENCE:

2 years of general radiography required

Previous cath lab experience beneficial

Broad Range of Technical Skills

Has fairly detailed level of knowledge of a specific area

Gathers, organizes, verifies, and analyzes data in the completion of multi-step procedures

Produces final output within established standards

Operates complicated equipment

Work Assignments procedural in Nature. Makes decisions by reviewing defined alternatives. Receives assistance from standard procedures, co-workers, supervisors, and physicians

Has no responsibility for committing resources in work areas but performs analysis and makes recommendations.
