Job Duties: The Loom Operator will maintain continuous high-quality product from the beginning of the weaving process to the completion of the product on the reel

Hours:
Days: 7:00am-7:00pm

Nights: 7:00pm-7:00am

Schedule:
One week you work 48 hours and the next week you work 36 hours

Total of 84 hours for a pay period

Every Other Weekend Off

Work 15 days a month

PAY :
Starting Pay for this position is $19.36/HR

+ $2 shift diff

Paid Bi Weekly ( 84 hours )

8 of the 84 hours is scheduled overtime

Duties & Responsibilities

Assist other associates as required

Assist in training new associates

Load and maintain the required amount of raw materials on reels

Know and understand the applications of commonly used yarn types

Maintain winders to ensure tape is winding properly

Check and maintain lube levels in lubricator

Check and verify that weft and lockstitch are being properly woven into the product

Check and maintain fluid levels

Build reels to make sure enough are left for the next shift

Maintain production logs recording all problems and downtime

Operate a forklift

Wrap pallets for completed product

Follow all safety requirements of this position

Abide by all policies and procedures in the employee handbook

Maintain a neat and orderly work area

Perform all other duties as directed by management.
