Description:SUMMARY
Seeking Pitney Bowes high capacity production Inserter Machine Operator. Experience preferred, but willing to train mechanically inclined individuals with mechanical aptitude.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Operate Pitney Bowes inserting machinery according to instructions and in a safe manner.
• Maintain a clean and neat work area.
• For Each Commercial Work-Order:
• Gather trays and/or sleeves and prior to starting job.
• Change postage meter cartridge when necessary.
• Check counts a least twice per tray.
• Fan for defects
• Stop machine if there are any problems.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
. Requirements: EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Basic Math skills required.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and color vision.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
