Job Purpose
Carry out various tasks to complete product assembly. Follow process steps and procedures in support of production and R&D Battery builds. Must have mechanical experience
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform process steps per the associated AP, M.I. and or OS
- Participate in cross training of production processes as assigned.
- Requires use of hand tools, process equipment and test equipment.
- Able to communicate recommendations for improvements in methods and or processes for improved productivity and quality.
- Interface with Design Engineers during prototype builds.
- Able to work shift schedules as assigned.
- Complete TR accurately in real time during the associated process steps.
- Notify Supervisor immediately of any process issues and or safety concerns
- Participate as required in training
- Other duties as assigned.
- Adhere to scheduled times and duration of breaks and lunch
- Must be willing to work overtime and weekends
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of prior assembly experience
- Adherence to ISO and quality requirements
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent as a minimum
Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 25-30 pounds, requires sitting, standing, walking.
Work Environment: Manufacturing

- Must be able to differentiate colors.
- Must be able to frequently bend; twist; reach; stoop; kneel or crouch.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds/23 kilos on a daily continuous basis. Anything heavier will be done with the assistance of a mechanical device or with the assistance of another employee.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Employees are responsible for wearing the required Personal Protective Equipment in the proper manner at all times.
- Must be able and willing to wear a respirator.
- Must be able and willing to work overtime.
- Must be able and willing to work varying schedules which may include nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Risk of electrical shock.
- This position is exposed to harmful materials such as lead/fiberglass products. Periodic blood tests are required to measure the level of lead. Precautions are taken by the company/employee to reduce the risk of exposure and help ensure everyones safety.
- This position requires working in a plant/warehouse environment. Therefore, expect varying working conditions.
