Production Supervisor

We are currently seeking an energetic and results-oriented Production Supervisor to join our company. This unique opportunity, located in Cleveland,Ohio will be responsible for the supervision and coordination of our manufacturing team .
Key duties include:

• Motivating and directing employees to ensure compliance with safety, quality and production goals; policies and company rules
• Organizing production schedules to ensure maximum utilization of equipment and personnel
• Providing necessary training to all production personnel as it relates to safety, quality, production and equipment operation
• Managing and reporting daily time keeping
• Investigating and implementing ways to reduce operating costs in all work centers and increase overall efficiencies

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong working knowledge of manufacturing processes and production machinery (including workflow, work orders and the ability to read and interpret blueprints)
• Strong work experience in Assembly, Paint line and Welding. Fabrication, Stockroom, Receiving experience would be preferred.
• Five or more years of experience working in a welding, metal fabrication or machine shop
• Previous supervisory experience preferred
• Associates degree in Supervisory Management or a related field of study desirable
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills
• Prior experience with 5S, Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement concepts
