Our client is actively seeking a talented Network Engineer to work with a team located near Antioch, TN. This is a full-time, HYBRID opportunity with our client.

Salary Range: $85K - $95K + Full Benefit Package

Job Overview:

Responsible for delivering on engineering responsibilities about data center technologies and systems that are compliant with company standards, security policies, and best practices in data center environments. The technical responsibilities for this position include data center routing, switching, load balancing, firewalls, ACI, VPN, and wireless technologies.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, maintenance, and upgrade of networks, including servers, routers, switches, firewalls, remote access systems, Zscaler, and network management systems.
• Monitor network connectivity and ensure high-quality data transmission.
• Provide technical support to various departments and users with regards to LAN/WAN and cloud-based networks.
• Serve as a liaison with vendors and other third-party providers.
• Research networking requirements; prepare detailed architectural and installation plans.
• Conduct internal studies of network performance and traffic analysis.
• Research problems, conduct cable and equipment installations and evaluate new technologies.
• Meet end-user needs by ensuring the uptime, performance, resource availability, security, and compliance of the networks managed within established budgets and operational guidelines.
• Determine and diagram the physical layout which illustrates the physical location of and the connections between devices participating in the network.
• Determine and diagram the logical layout which documents the communication protocols (e.g., IP, TCP, etc.) and type of service/application (email, file transfer, web browsing, etc.) for each segment of the network.
• Automate routine tasks using scripting and writing basic computer programs to address more complex systems software configuration and enhancement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of related experience including experience in an environment of comparable size/complexity.
• Network certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, JNCIS, JNCIE (A PLUS, but NOT required)
• Ability to work on a diverse team with members located in multiple international locations.

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role is $90k - $95k per year.

The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.
