Who We Are: The Guidance Center is a non-profit community behavioral healthcare provider serving the communities of Crawford, Franklin, Logan, Polk, Sebastian and Scott counties in western Arkansas

Who Are We Looking For?:

We have an immediate need for a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who is experienced and able to work independently. Previous care or working with behavioral health population experience is a definite plus but not an absolute requirement.

Qualifications

• PsyD or PhD in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology
• Comfortable working with a ride range of clinical presentations
• Self-motivated, ambitious and have an ability to quickly build rapport with clients
• Credential with most insurance panels to include Medicaid and Medicare
• Ability to form and maintain effective counseling relationships with clients, to monitor client progress in the therapy process and terminate the relationship in appropriate ways
• Arkansas licensure is not required for consideration or selection, it is a pre-requisite for starting in the position
• Must be able to pass Pre-Employment Drug Screen and Criminal Background Check

Responsibilities

• Provision of clinical assessment, evidence-based psychotherapy, consultation, and program development
• Conduct psychological evaluations and carry caseload
• Responsible for maintaining continuing education per license requirements

Pay: $62,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
