ASAKA JAPANESE CUISINE is a family owned and operated restaurant that sits near the heart of Asheville, minutes from the Biltmore Estate. The restaurant has been open for over 16 years serving authentic Japanese style cuisine. We offer flexible work schedules and a friendly work environment.

Cashier:

Seeking friendly, cooperative, hard working employees that are able to work in a fast paced environment. Cashiers are responsible for greeting customers, placing orders, transactions, handling food, and maintaining a clean workstation. Assemble food orders and double checking for completeness and accuracy of orders. Available 25 - 35 hours a week. No work experience required.

Main Responsibilities:

• Greet customers when they walk into the restaurant
• Assist customers by answering questions and offering suggestions/resolutions
• Place orders, fulfill transactions, and handle food
• Maintain cleanliness of workstation and waiting area
• Restock workstation inventory after each shift
• Clean up after customers by clearing and wiping tables

Additional Info:

Some responsibilities vary dependent upon shift you are working. 2 shifts are available: Morning Shift (10:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.) and Night Shift (4:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
