Independent Living Partners (ILPS) is seeking for an experienced and driven 24-Hour Emergency Assistant Specialist to join our growing team. ILPS is a Person-Centered social services Agency. One of the cool things about this position is you will be helping individuals organize their lives, get access to community resources for mental health and food and shelter.

Experienced ILS/IHS, Crisis Support and/or Mental Health Practitioners are best are encouraged to apply.

24-Hour Emergency Assistant job description

• Immediate response for assistance at a person’s home
• On-call counseling support for mental health, suicide ideation, depression, and anxiety
• 24-hour support over-the-phone for problem solving
• In-person check-ins scheduled regularly or as-needed, available 7 days per week or at least once a week
• Connect clients to mental health or suicide crisis hotlines
• Connect clients to resources for community resources: Food, shelter & healthcare

24 hours emergency staff are not mental health professionals, but they connect clients to appropriate mental health resources or general community resources. Staff are not allowed to transport clients.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $3,000.00 - $4,000.00 per month

• Associate (Preferred)

Experience:

License/Certification:

• Driver License (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 100% (Preferred)
