Become a part of our TEAM … The QUIKRETE® Companies, the leading producer of packaged concrete and related products, is seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician (5 PM to 3:30 AM) for our Kissimmee, FL Facility.
Successful Candidate MUST have their one tools.
Our minimum requirements are an Associates Degree with maintenance certifications will be given preference.
We are looking for a SAFETY minded experienced personnel with expertise in one or more of the following areas; millwright, pipefitting, mig/tig/stick welding, electrical (AC/DC motors), 480V 3 Phase electrical wiring, repair, and code compliance, and pneumatics/hydraulics.
Our first condition, one must comply with all safety procedures of lock-out, tag-out, PPE and all safety regulations at all times. This position maintains, repairs, and overhauls production machinery and equipment by performing daily/scheduled electrical and mechanical evaluations. In addition, this position will install, relocate and/or remove equipment, troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and pnuematic systems. Maintain logs/maintenance records on all work performed and initiate requests for maintenance supplies, spare parts and tools.
Housekeeping, one must keep all areas clean and free of hazards by performing housekeeping duties in the maintenance area and in all areas worked.
This position will require overtime and some weekend work during the peak season. We offer competitive hourly rate and benefits.
