Sound Advice a well-established and leading hearing healthcare practice and division of Alpaca Audiology, the largest and fastest growing hearing health care provider and practice management company in the industry is seeking a 4th Year Extern. The role is projected to begin after in June 2023 and continue through May 2024. In addition, we anticipate this role has the clear opportunity to transition into a full-time audiologist role after completing the AuD program. This is a dispensing/clinical practice with a focus on providing high quality patient care and services.
Responsibilities
- Establish rapport with and gather history from patients, conduct audiometric testing and make recommendations for hearing aids
- Utilize outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to provide patient with a hearing aid solution
- Professional interaction with patients, physicians and
- Understand, champion and implement specific marketing campaigns
- Provide outstanding aftercare and follow up to patients
Qualifications
- 4th Year Audiology Extern interested in private practice Doctorate of Audiology
- Extensive functional and technical hearing aid product and service process knowledge
- At least 1 year relevant hearing health experience
