Do you have Gulfstream experience? Do you have experience leading a team of technicians? Then this job is for you! We have full-time LEAD positions available for all of our shifts including:

1st Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday

2nd Shift: 2:00pm - 10:30pm, Monday - Friday

3rd Shift: This is a 4/10 shift meaning work 4 days then off 3 days. You would work Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday 7:00am - 5:30pm and then you would be off Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

Lead Responsibilities:

• Leads and supervises a maintenance crew of 3-6 technicians through all levels of Gulfstream scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to include: 12/24/36/72 month inspections, 5000 landing inspections, engine changes and discrepancy trouble shooting. At times will work multiple aircraft.
• Manages labor hours, materials and crew members efficiently. Responsible for the on time completion of their work orders while maintaining attention to detail, excellent customer service and quality workmanship.
• Working with the Shop Foreman, keeps customers up to date on the status of their aircraft. As time permits, learns on the job the duties and responsibilities of the Shop Foreman.
• Working with Human Resources, participates in the interviewing and selection of their staff. Writes and delivers effective employee performance evaluations and conducts counseling sessions with crew members as needed.
• Responsible for the on-going development and training of their staff.

• Gulfstream Experience
• Airframe and Power plant License Required, high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must qualify as a WJA Inspector.
• 1 year supervisory experience required.
• Basic knowledge of operating a personal computer or laptop.
  Knowledge of job-specific machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
• Capable of repairing machines or systems using the needed tools
• Ability to determine the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job
• Able to perform routine maintenance on equipment and determine when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
• Capable of determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it.
• Able to perform tests and inspections of products, services or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
• Able to install equipment, machines, wiring, or programs to meet specifications
• Ability to control operations of equipment or systems
• Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
• Able to monitor gauges, dials or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
