WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a member of the Engineering Department,theA&P Mechanicwill assist in any area of Epic Production Flight Test or R&D Flight Test as needed. This includes assisting lead mechanics in performing routine maintenance tasks on Epic E1000GX Aircraft. This is a great place to get started for new Grad A&P Students or A&P Students looking for an apprenticeship. Opportunities are available for all A&P experience levels. Other expectations may include:
- Assist experienced A&P mechanics in troubleshooting and repairing aircraft by carefully following oral or written instructions and detailed written procedures
- Ensure the work area is maintained in a clean and safe manner
- Remove, clean, inspect, and replace aircraft components following training and written procedures.
- Report directly to the Production Flight test or R&D Flight Test Manager
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM:
- Required- FAA Airframe and Powerplant license
- Avionics Experience helpful - training is provided
- A "can-do"teachable attitude, with a willingness to help any person on the team with any task
- Inspection Authorization is a plus
- Experience with Composite Materials is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work well with a team
- Professional appearance and excellent customer service skills;
- Possess the ability to work productively, efficiently, and effectively with initiative
- Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer without Sponsorship now or in the Future
