Abstractor | $17 - $25/hour DOE
Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm
We are hiring an analytical, focused, and professional Abstractor with excellent research skills for an abstract and title company in Orange City, Iowa. The Abstractor works independently researching, reviewing, and retrieving documents from archives that affect ownership of properties. Responsibilities:
- Complete research and exam for title products
- Review completed title products for accuracy
- Retrieve documents from archives and covert
- Courthouse duties
- Assist in maintenance of the title plant records
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Valid Driver’s License
- Strong research and analysis skills
- Excellent computer skills
- Proficient reading comprehension, writing, and communication skills
- Experience in abstracting, legal studies, lending at Banks is helpful
