Job description

Responsible for developing and maintaining solid working relationships with existing customers and for seeking out new business opportunities within existing contracts (e.g., identifying new waste streams and upcoming projects).

Develops and maintains strong relationships with existing customers oftentimes working with customers at their sites. This focus on customer service is necessary to maintain the financial health of the company.

Helps identify and develop new business opportunities within existing contracts.

Develops sales plans to define bookings and meet targets for revenue and gross margin as required.

Creates demand for product/services solutions in assigned territory as required.

Closes sales opportunities on new services as required.

Tracks and Trends Federal and State Government Mandated Cleanups and the Record of Decision Status for an assigned sales territory as required.

Visits with existing and new (as required) waste disposal facilities and remedial contractors to determine potential opportunities for our services in an assigned territory.

Identifies new sales opportunities and regularly works with the Logistics team to manage the development and evaluation of business cases to advance potential opportunities.

Interprets and understands customer needs and ensures customer requirements are met.

Understands, in broad terms, customer contracts and business planning activities in order to ensure contract work is accomplished successfully.

Communicates with and engages company technical experts (i.e., technical sales managers and operations personnel) to develop solutions to customer challenges.

Engages corporate resources (e.g., Contracts and Procurement managers) to ensure contract terms and conditions are appropriately handled.
Supports technical proposal writing, pricing and presentation efforts to ensure company continued growth.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

· Bachelor's degree required in business, science, or engineering or relevant discipline

· or a minimum of 10 years of experience in the industry

Certifications

· None required

Required Experience

· A minimum of 5 years of experience in the nuclear/radiological industry, defense industry, utility industry, or other non-utility/non-government, radiological waste processing and/or disposal industry

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,500.00 - $97,800.00 per year
