The Opportunity with McKinstry

We are currently seeking an Energy Services Account Executive to join our team in Washington. At McKinstry, it is our mission is to make every building we touch more efficient. You will support business development and sales efforts for our PNW Energy Services division. This will include developing and maintaining a sales plan, driving opportunities, lead generation, proposal development, responding to RFPs and RFQs, etc. Additionally, you will support and develop consultative relationships with potential and existing clients and utilize McKinstry tools, processes, and strategies to support these efforts.

What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, construction management, or equivalent business experience required.
  • Knowledge of building infrastructure systems, facility management, and critical facilities such as data centers required.
  • One (1) year of experience of financial/performance contracting experience including previous leadership, sales, and marketing with an energy service or related organization, with responsibilities for identifying leads, closing sales, and providing oversight to a project implementation team required. Applicable organization affiliations and or professional group associations preferred.
  • Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Ability and willingness to travel regionally.
  • Physical ability to navigate job sites in uneven terrain.
  • Provide personal transportation for meetings and job visits away from the office; reimbursed.

The pay range for this position is $83,025 - $133,500 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Base pay information is based on market location.
